How can you not fall in love with the vine-covered hills between Castelnuovo Don Bosco and Albugnano?

We fell in love with it, renovated the historic Cascina Vironi and came to live there. We replanted the vineyards surrounding the house with the best vines grown in this region: Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir and Freisa. We are currently in conversion to organic, a period that will end in 2024.

​

 

In the meantime, Cascina Gilli is transforming the Nebbiolo grapes for the production of Albugnano into our first DOC, La Passeggiata, which will soon be available on the market. This will be followed by the Metodo Classico Controluce sparkling wine produced from our Pinot Noir grapes.
